well I don't know much about atomic structure, but oh well lets see if the internet can help.


atoms are made up of 3 types of particals

• electrons ; tiny and have negative electrical charge. 

• protons  ; much larger and heavier than electron and have a positive charge.

• neutrons ; large and heavy like protons, but they have no electrical charge. 

each atom is made up of these particles. if you add a certain amount of particals together they create certain atoms. such as oxygen, hydrogen, and many many more.
